The breakfast switch-up.
Breakfast routine: Removing eggs and incorporating more fruit.
I’ve always been a healthy eater, avoided processed foods (most of the time) so I was skeptical when I researched how eggs can cause inflammation to your stomach. Most of my stomach sensitives usually started after breakfast, which included feeling heavy on my stomach, feeling leathery throughout the day and overall heartburn.
I eliminated eggs from my diet for 2-3 months, which was super difficult considering it was my go-to breakfast and started incorporating more fruit in the morning.
Heres how to do it:
If you have heavy meals with sausages, bacon and eggs – remove this from your breakfast. It hinders fat break down over the course of the day.
Add more fruits: create yourself a fruit bowl, include your favorite fruits! You can also add granola, or yogurt to make things a little more fun and filling.
I would suggest to do this for at least 1 month and really pay attention to how these foods affect you throughout the day.
Our bodies are like a clock. It goes through an intense period of detox between 7am and 11am, adding fruits to your diet during this period gives you the energy you need throughout the day.
It stimulates your digestive tract, since it’s easy on our body to digest first thing in the morning.
It gets rid of of toxins and clear up your system which can lead to weight loss.
Water-dense fruits (like watermelon) flushes out any excess sodium. Once you get the salt out, you won’t have that added water weight.
If you have trouble digesting your food and often feel bloated, try this out!
Hope this helps!
