Antioxidants: Contains the highest antioxidant amongst all major superfoods to protect the body from inflammation.

ECGC: The ECGC found in Matcha temporarily speeds up your metabolism and burns more calories. It can contain 137 times more the ECGC found in regular green tea, although it depends on the quality of matcha.

L-theanine: An amino acid which calms the mind and relaxes the body.

Is it worth the hype? Or it is aesthetically pleasing? Let’s just say, I’m obsessed. Matcha provides a state of calmness for me as it keeps me in a relaxed state of mind.

I’m always rotating between brands. Personally, I love buying the “Matcha Sora” from Camellia Sinensis, I’ve been using it for years every night before I go to bed. Other favorites are from Kusmi Tea and Matcha Ninja.
